Training Held for Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers in Chandanaish
On Friday, November 8, Dr. A.K.M. Saiful Islam, Chief Scientific Officer and Project Director of the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute, inaugurated a workshop in Sultan Palli-1, West Elahabad, under Chandanaish Upazila, Chattogram.
The workshop focused on modern methods for farmers in the production of agricultural machinery, quality control, safety, and work environment. Participants received specialized training on the use of hand tools, welding, piling, power transmission, drilling, and grounding.
Advanced training was also provided in agro-services, spare parts management, supervision, and technical and mechanical skills.
Speakers at the workshop highlighted that by adopting modern, technology-driven methods, Bangladesh could achieve further agricultural advancements. Utilizing technology will empower rural farmers to become more self-sufficient and financially secure, contributing to national food security.
Prominent guests included Managing Director of Banglamark Group, Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam; Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Md. Sirajul Islam; and Assistant General Manager (Business Development), Mr. Shahedur Rahman.
