Ongoing Training Workshop for Modern Agricultural Equipment Manufacturers in Chandanaish
A three-day training workshop is currently underway in Sultan Palli-1, West Elahabad, Chandanaish Upazila, Chattogram, focused on agricultural machinery production, safety, and work environment. The workshop, aimed at promoting mechanized rice cultivation, was inaugurated on Friday, as announced in a press release. The event is organized by the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute and is being supported by Bangla Mark Limited under the Farm Equipment Research Enhancement Project.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. A.K.M. Saiful Islam, Chief Scientific Officer and Project Director of the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute. The event was also attended by Md. Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director of Bangla Mark Group, Md. Sirajul Islam, Deputy Managing Director, and Shahedur Rahman, Assistant General Manager (Business Development).
The training provides modern methods for agricultural machinery production, quality control, safety, and work environment. Participants are receiving specialized training on hand tools, welding, piling, power transmission, drilling, and grounding. The workshop also covers advanced training in agro services, spare parts management, supervision, and mechanical and technical skills.
Speakers at the workshop emphasized that advancing agricultural innovation through modern, technology-driven methods will enable Bangladesh to achieve further agricultural revolutions. Utilizing technology will help rural farmers become more self-sufficient and prosperous, while also ensuring the country’s food security.
